  • Giants Take the Be Kind Pledge!

    The Be Kind Crew from the Be Kind People Project visited Griffith and asked all of us to take the pledge -- to be encouraging, supportive, positive, helpful, honest, considerate, thankful, responsible, respectful, and a friend!

  • November KidsRead

    Mr. Andy Bombeck -- along with his pet tortoise and snake -- visited Griffith's third graders and read the book, "Here is the Southwestern Desert." Each student received a copy of the book to add to their own personal libraries!

  • Veterans Day Assembly

    Eight former and current members of our armed forces presented inspiring messages to our 4th through 8th graders at our third annual Veterans Day assembly. We're thankful and proud to honor their service to our country.

  • Giants Run the Night

    Over a hundred Griffith students, along with their parents and teachers, participated in Giants Run the Night -- an event designed to encourage healthy living and to also support our school!

  • Day of the Dead Calaca Sculptures

    Griffith 5th and 6th graders created "calaca" sculptures in the tradition of Day of the Dead. These are another example of the fine arts that are central to a Griffith education!

  • October KidsRead

    Mrs. Shari Bombeck was the guest reader for October’s KidsRead event at Griffith School. She read “Rattlesnake Rules” by Conrad Storad and answered several questions about her many pets. Thank you for volunteering to read at Griffith!
