Procedural Rights and Safeguards Notice

A. Policy

1. Copy to parents. The Balsz School District shall provide a copy of the procedural safeguards notice to the parents of special education students once per year.

2. Exceptions. However, the Balsz School District shall also provide a copy of the procedural safeguards under the following circumstances:

* Upon the initiation of a special education assessment;
